Pre-owned 6 jewelled Switzerland movement circa 1890 in very mint working condition (110 years old antique) - no hallmark
Size of this pocket watch is 35mm exclude crown and 49mm include crown and bow
Original hand carved 9K solid gold dial with Roman index and original hands (minute and hour)-no hallmark printed on the dial surface
The back of the dial printed - LOUIS JEANNERET CHAUK DE FONDS, 'Louis Jeanneret' is the maker of this watch while 'Chauk De Fonds' is mean Switzerland.
Original glass top
Can be open 9K solid gold front glass cover with hinges and can be open beautifully hand carved 9K solid gold back cover with hinges-all hinges in tip top condition
The inner dust cover which to cover the movement has a word 'CURVE' which mean bronze
There is an '9C' hallmark and serial number printed inside the 9K solid gold back cover
The total weigth of the watch is 32g, the 9K solid gold case can easily weight up to 10g (RM500 worth of gold)
Note : The operation of this fine piece of antique is different from other watch - to set the time, press the pin beside the bow, while the pin depressed, turn the crown. To wind the watch, just turn the crown in opposite direction.
This is not water resistant watch
Condition : Excellent running condition and can tell time accurately
